Without a doubt, our favorite day of the year at Country 102.5 - FESTIVAL DAY! This being our 17th one was no exception. Nearly 20,000 of our closest friends, together. celebrating all that is good in the world through country music. From the parking lot tailgating, the sounds of new, raw talent on the side stage, through the vendors selling their goodies...and the artist interviews, all the way to the performances on stage - we manage to squeeze in about 12 hours of non-stop fun.
OK, so it was a bit on the warm side, but some shade and a nice breeze did manage to waft its way through the Comcast Center from time to time. It was good to see so many of our listeners...dancing, smiling...even just relaxing and soaking up the fun all around us. You guys are just nice folks to be around!
Sunny Sweeney, Randy Montana, Eric, Brian & Stephen from Love and Theft, plus Charles, Hillary and Dave from Lady Antebellum - even Tim McGraw - all said the same thing...they loved the enthusiasm and pure joy that came flowing forward from the crowd. Yea, they LOVED you guys! :)
