The New England Aquarium, which opened in 1969, is a global leader in ocean exploration and marine conservation. The Aquarium is one of the premier visitor attractions in Boston, with over 1.3 million visitors a year, and a major public education resource.

Take a trip to exotic waters and experience more than 70 exhibits featuring aquatic animals from around the world. Greet the African penguins as you enter, feel the smooth wing of a cownose ray and then wind your way around the four-story Giant Ocean Tank, home to a huge Caribbean coral reef.
