Red High Heel Club Makeup Tips

Hiding In Plain Sight
by Laurie Gail

Concealer is like a good friend - always there for you and not afraid of a few flaws. And, it’s a real lifesaver when needed!

e.l.f. Studio Corrective Concealer

e.l.f. Cosmetics’ Creative Director Achelle Dunaway’s shares her concealer tips.

  • Use a green shade to neutralize redness like that of acne and lilac shades to brighten yellow tones.
  • Prior to foundation, apply a concealer with fingertips or a brush to the preferred location. With a sponge, pat on pressed powder like the e.l.f. pressed powder over the concealer to set in. If desired, use the e.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set to seal your makeup for extended long wear.
  • When concealing under eye dark circles, choose a concealer that is a shade lighter than your foundation and that has a yellow tone to balance the purple darkness under the eye. Dot underneath the eye and blend in with your ring finger (as this is the most gentle finger to use when applying and your body heat helps to warm up the product for better bendability). Blend the color out until even. Set with a finely ground powder like the e.l.f. HD Undereye Setting Powder for long wear and a flawless finish.
