Stu Fink and Michael Burns

In 1975, Michael Burns started his career as Michael B, right out of high school. Quickly, he became a familiar voice to radio listeners, and was heard frequently on stations in his hometown of Lowell, as well as elsewhere in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Born in New York City, Stu Fink began his professional career in 1980 while still attending college in Boston. After graduating later that year, he would meet Michael for the first time at a station in Nashua. They became immediate friends.

Reunited in 1988 at Greater Media’s WMEX-AM, Michael and Stu were first heard together in 1989 on the Misplaced Memories program. From there, their mutual friendship—and radio careers—would continue, and, in 1994, the two were paired together again for the Sunday Morning Country Oldies program.

In 2014 the show celebrated 20 full years on Country 102.5 (and began its 21st year), while Michael and Stu celebrate more than 4 decades of friendship both in and out of radio. Listen to them Sundays between 8am and 12noon...on Country 102.5!
