Happy Children’s Book Week! Children’s Book Week is the longest-running literacy initiative in the country. Since 1919, each year for one week in May, children’s books and literacy are celebrated all across the country with author and illustrator appearances, bookstore events and more! Check your local library and bookstore web sites for celebrations, or check out the list of events around the country at http://www.bookweekonline.com/official.
